Capo Vaticano
A sea worth returning to.
Costa degli Dei · Calabria
Calabria to fall in love with.
Italy has more than 7,400 kilometres of coastline. Around 55 of them belong to the Costa degli Dei — the Coast of the Gods between Pizzo and Nicotera. Here lies Capo Vaticano: clear water, little coves, pale beaches and rocky headlands overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. From Andy apartments in San Nicolò, this corner of Calabria is within easy reach.
Today belongs to the sea.
Start at Grotticelle, where pale sand meets turquoise water. Swim, spend a quiet afternoon on the beach or discover the rugged coastline from the water on a boat trip.

Lanes, sea views and aperitivo

Torre Marrana
History a five-minute walk away
The historic Torre Marrana watchtower is only about a five-minute walk from Andy apartments. At its foot stands an open-air stone amphitheatre hosting concerts and various social events during the summer. Combine a little history with an evening of culture.
Pizzo
A sweet finish to your outing
For a longer outing, visit Pizzo. Pair a stroll through town with Murat Castle or the church of Piedigrotta, then try the local tartufo, the ice-cream dessert for which Pizzo is famous.

And then, just the sunset.
Not every day needs a plan. Sometimes all you need is a spot overlooking the sea and a little time to watch the sky turn gold.
